In 2020, Sayer embarked on an educational journey, enrolling at Stanford University, where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology and Philosophy, focusing on Bioethical Challenges in Law and Medicine.

Her journey with Stanford began after concluding the 2019–20 W-League season, as she joined the ranks of the Stanford Cardinal.

Beyond the collegiate arena, Amy has proudly represented her homeland, Australia, on the international stage.

She made notable appearances for the Australian national team in events like the 2018 Tournament of Nations and the 2018 European Tour, featuring in friendly matches against strong opponents such as England and France.

Notably, Sayer has represented her country at multiple age levels, from U-17 to U-23, and she is among the athletes considered for Australia’s 2023 World Cup team, showcasing her remarkable talent and potential on the world stage.

Furthermore, the caption on the post read, “Last days of summer with my new teammate 🥰 #coparent.”

In the post, Sayer tagged her fellow American soccer player from Stanford, Katie Mayer.

However, it’s worth noting that when we look at Katie’s Instagram profile, we find the presence of a rainbow flag, which is often associated with LGBTQ+ pride.

As a result, some fans have begun to speculate whether the two players might be in a relationship. It’s essential to remember that these are merely rumors and have not been officially addressed or confirmed.

Amy Sayer Ethnicity

Although Amy Sayer’s exact ethnicity is not yet known, sources say that the surname Sayer comes from Welsh origin.

Later, she joined Barker College. However, she could not focus much on her studies because of her international team commitments. She played for Canberra United during the W-League season.

As a result, Sayer was granted special permission not to attend classes.

Before joining Stanford, she played with various soccer clubs during her youth career.

She joined North Shore Mariners, Canberra United in the 2017 W-League season, and Sydney FC.
