Angela ‘Angie’ Tscheiner, a professional poker player and Cincinnati, Ohio, native, passed away at an untimely age on Monday, June 30, 2025.

The news was announced by her good friend, Joyce Meyer; however, the actual reason and details of Angie Tscheiner’s untimely death are not yet available.

Joyce Meyers on her Facebook shared several beautiful pictures of late Angie Tscheiner and wrote:

“R.I.P. Angie Tscheiner, I will never forget you and all the good times we all had together till we meet again💙 and make sure you hook up with Gail and have a beer or two..😢😭”

Similarly, Brit Sisson, one of Angie’s neighbours, also took to her social media to pay tribute to the poker star and express her sorrow.

The post reads:

“Some people leave behind a light that never fades—and Angie was one of them. Her memory will stay with us always, and I only wish she knew just how deeply she was loved. She’ll never be forgotten. 💔🕊️R.I.P. Angie Tscheiner.”

Angela ‘Angie’ Tscheiner was an exceptional poker player who amassed total live earnings of $10,853 throughout her career.

Her best live cash came in at $10,105. Throughout Angie’s poker career, she reached her highest ranking of 4,478th on the All-Time Money List, although her recent standing was 167,141st.

Similarly, within the United States, she ranked 77,400th, and in Ohio specifically, she held the 1,653rd spot.

In addition to her poker journey, Angie was a lifelong Cincinnati Bengals fan and loved football. She was also known for her charitable work, which supported her community.

Despite her untimely death, Angie Tscheiner’s contribution to the Cincinnati community as a professional poker player and amazing human being will always remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and loved ones.

Despite being a professional poker player, Angie Tscheiner led a private life and didn’t share many details about her personal life, including information about her family.

However, she was a proud mother to her daughter, Jazmine Herring, and an amazing grandmother to her three grandchildren, Lei’Lani Herring, Landon, and Loyal Render.

The late Angie often shared several pictures of her grandkids on social media, expressing her love and pride for them. Her grandson, whom she called Champ Render, plays football in high school.

In addition to her daughter and grandkids, Angie Tscheiner is also survived by her siblings, Urma (Curtis) Wood, Norbert ‘Bert’ (Ron) Tscheiner Jr., Joanie (Jason) Woodrum, Dottie Griffin, and Summer (Maxwell) Tscheiner-Schwab.

She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Furthermore, Angie Tscheiner was preceded in death by her parents. Her father, Norbert G. Tscheiner Sr., passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 78 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
