Anthony’s Case Against Domestic Violence
On October 20, 2019, Chickillo was arrested by the police after they responded to a call of a “domestic situation” at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington.
The charges against him were one misdemeanor count of simple assault and one misdemeanor criminal mischief charge, according to court records.
In addition, he also faced harassment charges. The victim was his girlfriend at the time Alysha Newman.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled for October 30, and he was released after paying a bail amount of $10,000.
According to the police, the confrontation began over table games at the casino. This continued after Chickillo and his girlfriend returned to their hotel.
The disagreement turned physical after Newman slapped him in the head after they entered their room, as per Chickillo.
Newman claims she hit Chickillo after he grabbed her and pushed her against the room’s door and wall.
But all of the charges against him were dropped later, which was confirmed by the Fayette County District Attorney’s Office.
