NBA player Aron Baynes first took his breath on 9 December 1986 and is 37 years old. 

He was born as Aron John Baynes in Gisborne, New Zealand, under the birth sign Sagittarius. Besides, he holds Australian nationality and belongs to the English ethnicity.

Aron was raised by his father, Marton Baynes, and his mother, Barbara Baynes. Moreover, he grew up with his older brother Callum Baynes.

His family shifted to the small Australian town of Mareeba, Queensland, when he was three years old.

The same year, he also played for the Los Angeles Lakers Summer League team.

Apart from that, he signed a contract for two years with EWE Baskets Oldenburg of the German Basketball Bundesliga.

While with Oldenburg, he scored an average of 6.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. Later, in 2011, he separated from Oldenburg.

Teams and Tenure

On January 23, 2013, Baynes joined the San Antonio Spurs and won an NBA championship a year later, where his teammate Kawhi Leonard became the MVP. 

After playing for two years, he joined Detroit Pistons on 12th July 2015. In March 2016, Aron then set a career-high in a 115-103 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.

He stayed with the team for two seasons and was then assigned to the Boston Celtics on 19th July 2017.

On July 6, 2019, Aron was traded to the Phoenix Suns for a 2020 protected first-round pick. Then, he signed a deal with Toronto Raptors on November 25, 2020.

While with the Raptors, Aron scored eight points and a season-high 16 rebounds in a 115-102 victory over the Orlando Magic. Nevertheless, he was waived by the team on 4 August 2021.

Finally, he signed a two-year deal with the Brisbane Bullets of the National Basketball League on 28 July 2022.
