Drake Randall Baldwin, an American professional baseball catcher for the Atlanta Braves of MLB, is making his parents proud of his achievements.

The Atlanta Braves’ star Drake Baldwin was born on March 28, 2001, in Madison, Wisconsin, to his mother, Bridgette Baldwin.

While no information about his father is available yet, Drake Baldwin often expresses his love and appreciation to his mother, Bridgette, who raised him to be an amazing athlete from a very young age.

It was his mother, Bridgette Baldwin, who signed Drake up for multiple sports, starting with tee-ball when he was three years old, instilling in him the dedication and passion for sports that would later benefit his athletic career.

Drake Baldwin played multiple sports in Madison West High School, including Hockey, baseball, and football.

He was also a four-time letterwinner and starter as a center and left wing in hockey, all thanks to his mother, who has been his guide and constant supporter through all his good and bad times.

In an interview with ESPN, Drake Baldwin mentioned that his mother, Bridgette Baldwin, serves as his greatest inspiration and role model.

Likewise, Bridgette was the first person Drake called and texted when he made the Atlanta Braves’ Opening Day roster on March 21, 2025.

In an interview, he said:

“I sent her a little text first, like, ‘Hey, do you have time to talk.’ Because I didn’t know if she had started school yet. But I told her and she was pretty fired up. So, she’s going to be out there in San Diego with couple other people and some friends.”

Furthermore, since 2019, Bridgette Baldwin has been working as a grade 1 teacher at Sauk Prairie School District’s Bridges Elementary School and has been incredibly guiding students.
