Brad Tucker passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at just 37 years old, with his wife Stacy by his side.
A beloved figure in Bay County, Michigan, Brad Tucker was a high school football coach for Bangor Township Schools, where he graduated in 2006. Later, he became a coach at John Glenn.
Before transitioning into coaching, he played football as a standout lineman at Bangor John Glenn High School.
In addition to coaching, he has served as the Human Resources Director for Bay City since 2021.
He was deeply involved in community service, volunteering with organizations such as the United Way.
Additionally, he was recognized for his commitment to helping others both professionally and personally.
Brad also enjoyed staying active, frequently visiting the YMCA, and found joy in traveling with his wife, Stacy, and spending time with their pets.
Sadly, Brad Tucker passed away over the weekend, and the cause of death has not been publicly released.
Bangor Township Schools shared a heartfelt statement on social media mourning the loss of Coach Brad Tucker.
They expressed deep sorrow and honored his lasting impact on the students, staff, and community, saying:
It is with a heavy heart that I share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Brad Tucker, beloved football coach, Bangor John Glenn alumnus (Class of 2006), and cherished member of our school community. Brad passed away over the weekend, and our entire district mourns the loss of a friend, mentor, and role model.
A celebration of his life is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Coonan’s Irish Hub in Bay City.
Brad Tucker And His Wife, Stacy, Were Together For 20 Years!
Born on November 2, 1987, Brad Tucker was married to his college sweetheart, Stacy A. (Strieter) Tucker.
They met during their school years in the Bay City/Saginaw area in 2005 while attending Bangor John Glenn High School.
Their bond grew over the years, and they were married on August 23, 2014.
As of now, there is no report suggesting they had children; either they chose to keep that aspect of their lives private, or perhaps they were planning to grow their family in the future.
Occupational Therapist Stacy earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Saginaw Valley State University.
Later, she advanced her expertise by pursuing a Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
While Stacy remains private about her personal endeavors, she was Brad’s closest companion, often by his side during community events.
She often shared her love for Brad on social media, posting sweet photos of them together with heartfelt captions that reflected their close bond.
She’s also known for being a dog lover, regularly sharing pictures of their pets, Cooper, Mac, and Oliver, as part of their family life.
In the past, Stacy posted about her personal weight loss journey, encouraging others to join her in fitness challenges and healthy habits.
In the wake of Brad’s passing, Stacy is receiving overwhelming support from the community.
Though she has kept details of her mourning private, both the Bangor Township School District and local media have emphasized she was by his side at home when he passed.
