Bessemer City Native and Belmont Bandits Baseball Coach Justin Frady, 40, Dies; Survived by Wife Courtney and Three Children

Justin Todd Frady, a Belmont, North Carolina resident and beloved coach, passed away on September 22, 2025, at an untimely age of 40, leaving his family and loved ones devastated.

While his family hasn’t disclosed the actual cause of his untimely death, many of his loved ones are paying tribute to the late Justin Frady and extending their heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.

Born on January 16, 1985, in Bessemer City, North Carolina, to parents, Todd and Rhonda Anderson Frady, Justin began his athletic journey from a very young age, playing multiple sports.

He played varsity baseball at Brevard College and led his team in several victories.

Although Justin Frady didn’t pursue his baseball career professionally, he continued to guide and lead athletes, serving as a baseball coach in Belmont, North Carolina.

He was serving as the 8U coach of the Belmont Bandits Baseball team and touched the lives of many athletes.

Belmont Bandits Baseball took to its official social media to pay tribute to their beloved coach and wrote:

“With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our Bandits 8U Coach, Justin Frady. We extend our deepest prayers and love to the Frady Family and all who knew and loved Justin during this difficult time. ❤️‍🩹.”

Similarly, the Belmont, North Carolina, community has also organized a fundraiser to help Justin’s family financially during this difficult time.

Late Justin Frady Thrived in His Career as a General Manager and Director of Student Ministry

In addition to his coaching career, Justin Frady was also thriving in his roles as a manager and student ministry leader.

He was working as a general manager at Comfort Keepers, an in-home senior care service located in Charlotte, North Carolina, since 2024 until his recent passing.

Simultaneously, Justin served as the director of student ministry at Life Church in Cramerton, North Carolina.

Prior to that, he worked as an assistant general manager at Levy Restaurants in Columbus, Ohio, for one year, and as a director of Aramark Healthcare for nearly six years.

He also served as a resource manager and director at Sodexo for nearly seven years.

Justin Frady is survived by his parents, Todd and Rhonda, his wife, Courtney Frady, his children, Adilyn, Zane, and Maddox Frady, his sister, Amber Frady, his grandmother, Toni Anderson, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, his father-in-law and wife, Phil and Teri Vazquez, and his mother-in-law and husband, Lori and Steve Dever, and brother-in-law, Michael Vazquez.

A celebration of Justin’s life will be held at 7:00 pm, Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Life Church. Interment will be private at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Belmont Raiders Athletic Association.
