Bonding Of Ben Stokes With His Son

Ben Stokes and his son have a great bond. The father-son duo is famous all over the internet.

Let’s go back to the time when Ben took his son for a spin in  Ferrari.

Ben Stokes celebrated his cricketing successes by driving his five-year-old son Layton around South Africa in a Ferrari.

The cricketer was named man of the match at Newlands after capturing the final three wickets.

Ben said after the victory at Newlands: ‘I’ve had a few knee issues and stuff like that, but I’ve got the three lions on my chest, which is such a proud thing.”

Stokes rented a Ferrari, kept his son in the passenger seat, and drove around Camps Bay in Cape Town.

This shows the bond that a father and son share with each other. Moreover, Layton also seems to love cricket and is willing to follow in his father’s footsteps.

Relationship With Wife And Kids

Clare Ratcliffe is the wife of cricketer Ben Stokes. Clare Stokes was born on October 7, 1996, in East Brent, Somerset, United Kingdom.

Ratcliffe used to work as a primary school teacher; however, the wife left her job as a teacher to give full attention to her children.

Clare refers to herself as a “cricket widow” and “parents to two monsters” in a fun way.

Clare Ratcliffe met Ben Stokes in August 2010 at an Old Trafford match between Lancashire and Durham when the latter had just begun his career.

The two via Facebook and hit it off right away.

Though, they had to deal with a long-distance relationship for five months- Clare was studying in Taunton, and Ben Stokes was playing county cricket for Durham.
