Bennett was a student manager at Florida for three years under Mike White and continued with the program after Todd Golden’s hiring in March 2022.
“I didn’t realize going into a player I would learn so much different stuff and see it a different way, but I feel like I have. Just getting to be in the locker room in practice and hearing guys thoughts on how practice went, and different things going on I think has taught me a ton.

Bennett Andersen is the son of Carter and Dana Andersen. His parents relocated to Florida because of the academics. They are proud University of Florida alumni.
They raised him alongside his four siblings, Abby, Maddie, Carter, and Wilson. His younger brother, Wilson, played on USA Baseball’s 15U team.
As he steps onto the field, Bennett brings his resolve and his parents’ legacy.

I wanted to get a master’s that would be worthwhile to me and it’s nice to have a general business background. It pairs well with my engineering degree because there’s a broad list of things I can do with it.
