Bernie Kosar, a former American professional football player, married Babette Ferre on June 22, 1990, and their divorce was finalized in 2007.

The main reason for their divorce was Kosar’s reckless spending, bad investments, and drug use.

Bernie Kosar is facing a challenging health journey as he waits for a life-saving liver transplant.

He recently shared that his planned transplant has been postponed after a donor organ became infected. This setback comes after he underwent two “aggressive procedures” to address internal bleeding.

The NFL legend’s health struggles became public in 2024 when he was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and early symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.

Following the diagnosis, he was placed on the national liver transplant list. Doctors had noted signs of improvement, making this recent delay particularly difficult.

The 61-year-old Super Bowl winner posted a video online updating his fans and asking for their support as he continues his fight.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Bernie. We love you and are with you every step of the way. If anyone can stay strong through this, it’s you 🧡
