Hatchett isn’t even the official head coach there; his son is the head coach, but he shows up to help because he believes in these young players.

With a heavy heart, he warned that if Cam walked away, he’d likely end up dead or in jail within three years, before he even turned 20, saying:
And I’m telling you now, from the bottom of my heart, if you leave this damn field, son, within three years, I’m gonna have to come see you.
