Recently, Pennsylvania native Bo Bassett, aka Beau Bassett, left the wrestling enthusiast stunned with his performance at the featured match on a loaded boys card at Who’s Number One, knocking out California’s Daniel Zepeda by 12-6.

Basset is reported to be just a 17-year-old student at Bishop McCort, but his achievements are far more extensive than his age.

As of now, he has already been a Cadet World Champion, three-time Pan Am Champion, and eight-time PA state champion.

Further, his accomplishments include two Super 32 championships, two-time Ironman & Powerade Championship, and the USA Gresco Worlds. Bo Bassett also earned bronze at the U20 World Championship.

On July 16, he shared an Instagram post announcing his preparation for the upcoming World Championship series.

In his caption, he expressed his excitement, giving followers a glimpse into his training journey as he geared up for the competition.

He wrote,

2024 U20 65kg Pan Am Champion. What an amazing week in Lima, Peru. The goal is & always will be the same! My next focus is to dominate the world with pace & pressure. It’s World Championships Season. 🌍🇺🇸✝️.”

Well, his confidence in his ability to succeed in wrestling and his unbeatable skill are unmatchable for such a young kid, in general, and there is no doubt that they have led him to where he is now.

Bo Bassett’s Parents, Karissa and Bill Bassett, are Supportive of his Wrestling Career

Born and raised in Windber, Pennsylvania, Bo started wrestling at a very young age, and obviously, it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of his parents, Karissa and Bill.

The Bassett couple is often spotted accompanying their child in several tournaments, especially Bill, since he has a wrestling background.

Bo’s father is an educator and head coach at Bishop McCort Catholic High School, where Bo studies.

On May 26, 2021, the school administration recruited him for a position and announced it on social media, writing,

Bishop McCort Catholic High School welcomes Bill Bassett as Head Wrestling Coach! Mr. Bassett brings with him a wealth of knowledge, experience, and energy to Crusher Wrestling..

On the other hand, Bo’s mom, Karissa, is a registered nurse at the Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

She works with a group of medical professionals who treat breast cancer and often has a busy schedule. But despite that, she makes time for her children to assist them better in their lives.

Emerging Wrestling Star Bo Bassett is Apparently In a Relationship With Ayda Dorian

On June 8, 2024, Bo shared his picture alongside a girl named Ayda Dorian on his Instagram, captioning it “Just Us” with a heart-hands emoji, suggesting that the two are in a relationship.

While the information on when the young couple started dating is unavailable, they appear to blossom as a romantic couple.

A few months back, Ayda shared some glimpses from her graduation day at the Army National Guard on her Instagram, and in the comment section, Bo asked the love of his life for dates on the beach.

Bo Bassett wrote, “Do you want to go to the beach?!?!” To which Ayda replied, “@bo.bassett, duh! Leave this weekend? and Bo agreed.

In Case You Didn’t Know

  • His mom, Karissa, became a breast health nurse navigator after she experienced medical scarcity.
  • Bo is on Facebook under the name The Bassett Brothers, representing him alongside two other wrestlers, Keegan and Melvin Miller, of Bishop McCort Catholic High School.
