NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Bobby Allison has been living a single life since the passing of his loving wife, Judy Allison, with whom he had been together for over 50 years.
According to various sources, Robert Arthur Allison, aka Bobby Allison, first met his wife, Judy Allison, through her sister Carolyn and her husband, Ralph Stark.
The couple married in 1960 when Bobby Allison was in his early 20s. Their relationship had a huge hiatus; they separated in 1996 after over 35 years of marriage.
Through their decade-long marriage, they had welcomed four children: two sons and two daughters.
Her first son, David Carl Allison, aka Davey Allison, was born on February 25, 1961; however, at the age of 32, he passed away on July 13, 1993, due to injuries sustained from a Helicopter crash at Talladega. He was pursuing a career as a race car driver like his father and was in NASCAR.

Similarly, the couple’s second child is a son, Robert Clifford Allison, who was born on October 20, 1964 and he was also a race car driver like his brother and father.
However, on August 13, 1992, he lost his in a crash during practice for a NASCAR Busch Series race at Michigan International Speedway. At the time of his passing, Clifford was only 27 years old.
Losing one after another children at a similar age was not easy for their parents. Just three years after the tragic incident, the couple separated, which made people think they might have parted ways due to the loss they faced.
Bobby Allison Remarried Judy Allison in 2000 And Stayed Together Until The Passing Of His Wife!
After the divorce, Bobby Allison and Judy Allison lived a single life for around four years. However, they reconnected when they met again at their daughter-in-law’s wedding.
Consequently, the couple remarried in July 2000 and started living together. After the remarriage, they were together for 15 years as Judy Allison passed away in 2015.

According to the report, Allison had been suffering from a severe illness for a long time. Similarly, after the complications during the surgery, she lost her life while her husband was on the side.
At the time of her passing, Judy Allison was 74. After her passing, NASCAR released a statement writing,
The matriarch of a cornerstone NASCAR family [who] provided the foundation for the careers of a legendary husband and two sons who both lost their lives entirely too soon. Her love extended well beyond her own family, as many in the NASCAR family leaned upon Judy for support and compassion during many difficult times.
After his wife’s passing, Bobby Allison, who is currently 86 years old, resides alone on Lake Norman near Charlotte after leaving Hueytownh house.
His two daughters, Bonnie Farr and Carrie Hewitt, and grandchildren, Robert Grey Allison and Krista Marie Allison, often visit him at his house.
