Boston Scott parents, Anthony Scott and Shelly Jackson, parted ways when Scott was in elementary school. Boston and his siblings had to choose between a father and a mother to live with.

The separation of parents didn’t stop father and son from bonding, as Anthony and Boston mainly bonded over football.

Boston Nealand Scott was born on April 27, 1995, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Scott, a football running back, is currently playing for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL).

The New Orleans Saints drafted him in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Scott has been given the nickname “Giant Killer” among Philadelphia Eagles supporters as a result of his three touchdown performances during the 2019 NFL regular season.

Moreover, the player is a professional Rocket League eSports player for Dignitas.

Moreover, Anthony sustained a severe stroke in February 2018, which resulted in temporary paralysis. His right side of the body was affected by the stroke that occurred on the left side of his brain.

Anthony recovered most of his body’s movement after three months of intense training, but he had trouble speaking for two years.

“When he can’t pronounce a word, I get him to sing his ‘ABCs,’ which I think is a staple in a lot of our minds. Singing your ‘ABCs,’ that’s something you can remember from your childhood.” Scott said this to NJ Advance Media.

Despite the divorce, the kids supported his father and helped him regain most of his strength.

On the other hand, Shelly S. Jackson is from Gretna, Louisiana, according to Facebook.

Jackson attended West Jefferson High School and John Ehret High School.

After that, Shelly attended college and completed her Bachelors in Health Science. Also, she studied Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in nutrition and dietetics at Louisiana State University.

Currently, the mother is also happily married to Barry Jackson. The couple tied the knot on February 9, 2020.

Boston Scott is not married yet. However, Scott is engaged to his long-term girlfriend, Mariah Rojas. Boston posted a photo on Instagram on July 17, 2023, where he was proposing to his girlfriend Mariah with a ring.

The couple announced their relationship to the public on 2021’s Valentine by sharing each other’s photos on Instagram.

Additionally, Rojas is a mental health therapist. Mariah studied psychology at Louisiana Tech University. After that, she went to Washington State University to continue her studies in psychology.

Moreover, at Seattle University, the therapist earned a master’s degree in psychology. While she was studying bachelor’s, Rojas worked as a behavioral therapist on kids and family counseling.

After working for more than two years, the girlfriend did an internship as a mental health therapist at MEND Seattle.

Currently, Mariah has opened her own clinic named Rojas Therapy PLLC after gaining experience from MEND.
