The New Orleans Saints drafted Scott in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. On May 10, 2018, Scott signed his rookie contract with the Saints but, unfortunately, was waived on September 5, 2018, after making it into the initial 53-man roster.

Scott was signed off the Saints practice squad by the Philadelphia Eagles on December 10, 2018. He scored his first professional touchdown on a 4-yard run against Buffalo Bills on October 27, 2019.

Boston Scott was born on April 27, 1995, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to supporting parents Anthony Scott and Shelly Scott. He grew up with his older brother, Tony, and a sister Alana.

He scored his first professional touchdown on a 4-yard run on October 27, 2019, when the Eagles defeated the Bills 31-13. 

Scott’s performance from the last season earned him the backup running back position for 2020. He made a game-winning touchdown from Carson Wentz in a 22-21 win against the Giants on October 22, 2020. 

On April 1, 2021, he signed a one-year exclusive-rights free agent tender with the Eagles. Likewise, Boston extended his stay with the Eagles on March 18, 2022.
