Professional baseball player Brandon Pfaadt is one of the three sons of his parents, Brian and Staci Pfaadt.
Born into a family of athletes, Brandon and his brothers, Brett and Brady, began practicing baseball with their grandparents at a young age.
Their grandad, Bob, was one of the most prolific high school baseball players in the fifties.
Furthermore, Brandon’s dad, Brian, was a high school soccer player. Similarly, his mom, Staci, played basketball in her youth.
Brandon Connor Pfaadt, better known as Brandon Pfaadt, is an American professional baseball player who plays as a pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball.
Before his professional debut, Pfaadt played high school baseball for Trinity High School and Bellarmine University. Aside from playing baseball for the Knights, he was pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
Selected by the Diamondbacks in the fifth round of the 2020 MLB draft, Brandon made his MLB debut for the club on May 3, 2023. Before that, he stayed in the minor leagues for three years with clubs such as Visalia Rawhide, Hillsboro Hops, and Reno Aces.
Brandon Pfaadt’s Parents: Father Brian And Mother Staci
The Diamondbacks pitcher Brandon Pfaadt was born to his parents, Brian and Staci Pfaadt, on October 15, 1998, in Louisville, Kentucky. Besides him, his parents have two sons, Brady and Brett.
His dad, Brian, is the son of former athletic director and administrator at Trinity High School, Bob Pfaadt. Bob was himself a baseball player for Trinity HS in the 1950s and was later inducted into the Trinity Hall of Fame.
Inheriting the athletic genes from his dad, Brian also became an athlete. Even though he played high school soccer and baseball, he left playing the game during college to focus on his studies.
Currently, Brian is the director of Facilities Management at Bellarmine University. All his kids attended Bellarmine for higher education.
Speaking of Brandon’s mother, Staci is a former basketball player. So, allowing their kids to enjoy sports during their spare time was normal for the Pfaadt couple.
Both Staci and Brian have made many sacrifices to help their kids achieve their dreams. Despite the high cost, they sent their sons to the travel ball every summer so they could have fun and improve their skills.

As mentioned earlier, Brandon Pfaadt has two brothers- Brady and Brett.
His older brother, Brady, studied Business Administration and Management at Bellarmine University, aside from playing collegiate baseball. He later earned his MBA from the same institution.
Brady currently works as an operations manager at Carter Lumber, a building material retail company based in Louisville, Kentucky.
Similarly, his younger brother, Brett, also played baseball for Trinity and later for the Bellarmine Knights.
Although he did not get to play any matches in his first season due to COVID-19, he performed well in the later seasons, consequently receiving the ASUN Honor Roll consecutively for three years.
Brett Pfaadt graduated from the University in 2023.
