Marcell Ozuna’s Wife And Genesis Guzman are still together, despite the Baseball player Being Charged With Domestic Violence in the past.

Marcell Ozuna is a 34-year-old Designated Hitter for the Atlanta Braves, who is currently drawing interest from the San Diego Padres, with the Braves open to trading. The Dominican is also believed to be open to a move for more regular playing time.

The Atlanta Braves player has played for two teams, the Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals, before eventually joining them in 2020.

During his time with the Miami Marlins, he married the love of his life, Genesis Guzman, who is an Entrepreneur and CEO of Empresas Geymar. The couple met in their Teenage days in the Dominican Republic, before eventually marrying in 2016.

Marcell Ozuna and Genesis Guzman have three kids: two sons and a daughter from their marriage.

All Kids were already born before there was a glimpse of domestic violence in their family.

Their Mother, Genesis Guzamn, was arrested in Miami for misdemeanor battery offense after hitting her husband with a soap dish.

Ozuna himself drove to the police station to file the case, though Guzman was pleaded not guilty.

Again in 2021, Marcell Ozuna was involved in a domestic violence incident on May 29, 2021 that drew national attention.

Ozuna was arrested in Sandy Springs, Georgia, after police reportedly witnessed him assaulting his wife, Genesis Guzman, during a 911 phone call.

Later, the charges of aggravated assault were dropped, but misdemeanor charges of battery and simple assault were still there for the baseballer.

With so much already going on in his life, MLB issued a 20-game suspension due to the Domestic Violence Policy.

In 2022, the MLB player officially returned to the team and even publicly apologized to everyone. He also completed an intervention program and contributed to community service.

Thankfully, the last few years have reportedly been great for the Marcell family, as no such case has occurred. Both Marcell and his wife have also been posting to each other quite a lot over the past couple of months.
