Furthermore, after dating for a couple of years, the two tied the knot in 1998. From their relationship, Brent and Erin have two sons together.

Unfortunately, their marriage fell apart 12 years after. Well, it’s not weird for couples to have problems in their marriage, but very few people lead to divorce in the end.

Back in 2010, Brent had filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” According to reports, it claimed that Erin was having an extra-marital affair with Brent’s then-teammate, Tony Parker.

Moreover, in December 2010, Erin issued a statement denying the reports on extra-marital affair being the cause of their separation, saying,

“Unfortunately, because our divorces are occurring at the same time, great speculation has been cast on our friendship.

My friendship with Tony Parker had nothing to do with the end of my marriage, and to assume that we had an affair is naive, ridiculous, and completely misguided.”

“Every day I dedicate myself to being the right person and the best Mom that I can be for my two beautiful children.

I have spent my adult life fighting for children who have been victimized. So forgive me for not caring when someone tells me that my name is being dragged through the mud.”

Their divorce got finalized on January 5, 2011, with joint custody of the children.
