Brice Sensabaugh, an American basketball player, scored 37 points with 4 rebounds and 2 steals in 27 minutes, helping Utah win 112–111 against Memphis and no doubt making his parents, Keisa and Gerrard Sensabaugh, proud of their 21-year-old son.
In the 2025 Salt Lake City Summer League, Sensabaugh delivered an exceptional performance that broke the Summer League scoring record and had NBA scouts buzzing.
This performance followed a solid opener, in which Sensabaugh added 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Utah’s staff praised his scoring instinct and versatility.
However, after he blew out, Utah’s staff decided to rest him from further Las Vegas Summer League games to manage right knee soreness.
Brice Sensabaugh Credits His Parents for His NBA Success!
Brice Sensabaugh was born to Keisa and Gerrard Sensabaugh on October 30, 2003, in Wilton Manors, Florida, a city in the Miami metropolitan area.
Although he was born in Wilton Manors, he grew up in nearby Orlando, Florida, where he attended Lake Highland Preparatory School. In his early school days, he started his game before heading to Ohio State and eventually the NBA.

Follwing their son’s interest in Basketball, Brice’s parents moved to Oviedo when Brice completed his freshman year of high school (the 2020–21 academic year), and the family relocated in summer 2021.
This movement allowed Brice full-time access to the school’s gym, making his daily training routines much more convenient.
With his passion and skills, he developed a significant role as a shooting forward, showcasing exceptional talent, to the point that his coach, Ben Fratrik, praised him highly, stating;
“He’s Built like Charles Barkley, but he Handles and shoots it a lot different than Charles Barkley did“
Brice Sensabaugh Comes from a Sports Family, With His Father Being a Local Football Player
Brice’s father, “Gerrard,” is a former professional football player and was somehow involved in the NFL.
Gerrard is an alumnus of Ohio State University, and his connection to the school influenced Brice’s decision to commit to the Buckeyes for college basketball.
While most of his family members were part of some football club, he is the first one to be in basketball. During his time with the Prospective Insight Q&SA session, he was asked about his family, and he mentioned saying;
My uncle and my dad were nice. My uncle played college basketball at Eastern Kentucky and my dad, he never really played organized because he had to take care of my uncle — he’s his little brother. Most of my family are football players. I have a few of my family members who were in the NFL. But I’ll be the first one to take it far in basketball.
On the other hand, Brice’s mother, Keisa, worked as an upper school administrative assistant at Lake Highland Preparatory School in Orlando.
Her role allowed her to be closely involved in Brice’s daily life and academic environment, providing consistent support throughout his upbringing.
While both of Brice’s parents were involved in sports in their own ways, which helped shape his path to becoming a rising basketball star in recent times.
