Rachel Canaday’s Husband, Evan, Tenderly Remembered Her Words: “I wish I met You Sooner, So That I Could Love You Longer”
Rachel Canaday graduated from Broomfield High School in 2011, earning her diploma while excelling as a varsity softball player, varsity cheerleader, and honor roll student.
Later, she built a remarkable career in hospitality and marketing.
She served as Marketing Manager at Lotus Marketing, Inc., Marketing Coordinator at Marriott International, and Sales Coordinator at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina.
A proud alumna of San Diego State University, where she studied Hotel Management from 2011 to 2016.
Born and raised in Broomfield, Colorado, Rachel later made her home in Denver.
In 2024, she married Evan Haft, two years after saying “Yes” on August 25, 2022.
The couple met at Sally’s during a work friends’ happy hour on January 18, 2019. Just four weeks later, they began traveling together and quickly became inseparable.
Rachel’s passing has left a deep void in the heart of her husband, Evan, who cherishes the memories of their love, their travels, and the inseparable bond they shared.
Evan recalls that not a single day passed without Rachel by his side, and now he feels lost without her.
Further, he said:
We’ve traveled the world together, laughed together and cried together for seven great years and I am lost in this world without you. There isn’t a minute that goes bye without thinking of the things that we were yet to accomplish in life and so many things on our bucket list for the years to come. I promised to love you, protect you and be your rock until my last day on this earth and will forever uphold that promise. As the tattoo on the back of her neck said, FOREVER YOUNG! I love you to the moon and back.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Rachel Canaday Haft’s family, friends, and well-wishers.
Rest In Peace, Beautiful Soul!
