Bryce Young, the 2023 No.1 overall pick, benched by the Carolina Panthers after just two games into the 2024 season, remains unreleased.

Panthers quarterback Bryce Young was born to parents Craig and Julie on July 25, 2001, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. However, he was brought up in Pasadena, California.

From his early days, Bryce showed an inclination towards football and eventually forged a name for himself in the sports industry.

He attended Cathedral High School in Los Angeles before transferring to Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, where he became one of the top high school quarterbacks in the nation.

He played college football from 2020 to 2022 with the Alabama Crimson Tide. During his two-year tenure, he bagged the prestigious Heisman Trophy in 2021.

In 2023, the Panthers drafted Bryce first overall. Meanwhile, the recent news of his replacement has disappointed his fans and well-wishers.

There Is No Indication Of Bryce Young’s Release Amid The Carolina Panthers’ Bold Move To Start Andy Dalton!

Carolina Panthers made a bold call removing quarterback Bryce Young after just two games into the 2024 season.

This unanticipated decision surprised many, including Bryce himself. Meanwhile, the Panthers have started veteran quarterback Andy Dalton to replace him.

The decision came from head coach Dave Canales, reportedly due to his unstable performance in those games.

According to Dave, he gave Bryce the best chance to move forward. However, he struggled to find his rhythm, leading to the team facing back-to-back losses.

Hence, he started the veteran quarterback Andy Dalton and replaced Bryce to turn the season around and stabilize the team.

Meanwhile, despite this move, no trustworthy sources have ascertained any potential news of Bryce’s release so far.

That said, reports suggest this decision is considered more of a “timeout” than a “season-long benching. ”

It remains unclear whether his benching is temporary or if Bryce will be given more time before returning to the starting role later in the season.

According to ESPN NFL Nation Reporter David Newton, during this timeout, the Panthers shall correct the issues with Bryce’s comeback at some point this season.

Fans Come Forward To Support Bryce Young, Flooding His Social Platforms With Words Of Encouragement!

As the turning events unfolded, many supported Bryce, including former quarterback Alex Smith.

No one can relate to what Bryce is going through more than Alex, a former NFL quarterback and the San Francisco 49ers’ No.1 overall pick who was benched in 2005.

During ESPN’s ‘Sunday Countdown‘ before Carolina’s matchup, Alex gave his take on the Carolina Panthers for failing Bryc, saying,

This organization has really failed him. He’s had three head coaches in 18 games, and who is he playing with out there? This has been hot garbage. I know they’re going to Andy Dalton right now, but they should’ve done this from Day 1 last year and let him sit and learn and make sure when he does play there’s stability around him.

Amid the adversity, Alex believes Bryce’s time off might come forward as a blessing in disguise, with him making a powerful comeback after a break.

Similarly, Mel Kiper Jr., an NFL analyst, shared his thoughts on the Carolina Panthers’ move, saying,

To blame this on Bryce Young is ridiculous. The blame here goes to the organization and the owner for mishandling this young quarterback

Let alone coveted sportspersons, thousands of fan followers have shown him strong support, flooding his social media with words of encouragement.

A fan wrote a lengthy comment suggesting he ought to believe in himself in the face of difficult times, writing,

Hey Bryce, stand tall and keep the faith. Don’t let them break your confidence. You are still the best and you will shine again!! Don’t let anybody tell you anything different
