Dawson Knox’s sister, LJ Knox, followed in her family’s athletic footsteps, excelling as a standout defender for the Auburn Tigers women’s soccer team.

Dawson Knox is a professional American football tight end for the Buffalo Bills in the NFL.

Born on November 14, 1996, in Brentwood, Tennessee, he played college football at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) before being drafted by the Bills in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Knox is actively participating in the Buffalo Bills’ training camp.

He was recently activated from the non-football injury list after recovering from a hamstring issue.

Despite facing competition from younger tight end Dalton Kincaid, Knox remains a key component of the Bills’ offense.

Dawson Knox’s Sister, LJ Knox, is a Senior Defender For the Auburn Tigers Women’s Soccer Team!

Dawson Knox’s sister is Lucy James Knox, who is six years younger than he is. She is one of his four siblings, alongside brothers Luke, Nate, and Isaiah.

Lucy, a rising soccer talent, is a senior defender for the Auburn Tigers women’s soccer team, hailing from Brentwood, Tennessee.

A standout athlete from Brentwood Academy, she excelled in multiple sports before focusing on soccer during high school.

Knox joined Auburn in 2021 and quickly became a key player, earning recognition for her defensive prowess and leadership on the field.

In the 2024 season, she played nearly 1,900 minutes, leading the team with 12 shutouts, including eight consecutive to start the season.

Her performance earned her a spot on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region team and the SEC Defensive Player of the Week honor in August 2024.

Off the field, Knox is deeply involved in community service, working with organizations like Project Uplift and Our House to support local youth and families.

She is also a two-time SEC Academic Honor Roll member and has been recognized for her resilience and positive attitude following the loss of her older brother, Luke, in 2022.

Knox’s dedication to both her sport and community exemplifies the values of Auburn Athletics.
