Adam Mair, a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre, has kept much information about his personal life private, including details about his wife, Alli.

There is minimal publicly available information about her background or their family life.

Adam has always been in the spotlight for his athletic success, but this time he is in the limelight for his arrest.

The Buffalo Sabres have placed player development coach on administrative leave following his arrest for drunk driving last week.

The arrest occurred on September 4 in suburban Rochester, New York, after Adam rear-ended another vehicle. Police reported that three children were in his car at the time.

According to court records, he was charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors, including aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle and endangering the welfare of a child.

A deputy noted a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, and his blood alcohol content was later measured at 0.20%, which is more than twice the legal limit.

The Sabres organization stated they are aware of the situation but have no further comment.

While speaking with Adam, I could smell the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath, and his eyes were bloodshot and glassy. His speech was slow and mumbled, and he was using the front passenger door of his vehicle to support himself while standing.

A Glimpse into the Private Life of Adam Mair: A Shared Commitment with His Wife, Alli

Former NHL forward Adam Mair has always been private about his life off the ice.

It is publicly known that he is married to a woman named Alli, but details about her and their family remain out of the spotlight, a choice the couple has consistently respected.

However, a rare public appearance in May 2007 offered a heartwarming glimpse into their shared values.

Adam and his wife, Alli, visited the SPCA Serving Erie County to speak with children participating in an after-school program.

The program is called “Teaching Love and Compassion.” It educated children on a range of animal-related topics, from proper pet care and training to understanding wildlife ecosystems and recognizing animal abuse.

Adam Mair, drawing from his extensive hockey career, spoke to the children about the universal importance of teamwork in achieving any goal.

He emphasized that whether the task is training a dog to make it more adoptable or working together to score a goal, success relies on a supportive team.

The children eagerly showed Mair and his wife the “wall of fame” featuring pictures of pets they had helped place with loving families.

This brief visit highlights a side of the athlete often hidden from public view.

Nonetheless, Adam is a family man and community member who is deeply supported by his wife, Alli. His wife also shares his commitment to giving back and teaching compassion to the next generation.
