Camila Giorgi doesn’t have a husband and is not married yet. But previously, the Italian tennis player was engaged with a former tennis player.
In 2016, Camila shared a picture of her engagement ring on Instagram, which she has since deleted. At the time, Giorgi was dating an Italian tennis player, Giacomo Miccini.
Since their breakup, Camila has been linked with the Argentine tennis player Santiago Rodriguez Taverna, eight years younger than her. The rumors started last year after they were spotted kissing at the US Open.
Earlier this year, in February, Camila won her first tournament since 2021 at Merida Open Akron against Rebecca Peterson. But hasn’t been able to keep up with the momentum.
In the recent Birmingham Classic, Giorgi was knocked out by the legend Venus Williams in the first round. Giorgi also faced online criticism from Rennae Stubs and Martina Navratilova for celebrating Williams’ fall.

And the person who went down on one knee was fellow Italian tennis player Giacomo Miccini. Unlike his former partner, Miccini never made much noise in tennis tournaments.
His career-high ranking in singles was back in 2015, at 1023, and a 944 ranking in doubles in 2010. But things weren’t always that gloomy for Miccini.
Who Is Giacomo Miccini?
Miccini was one of the brightest prospects for Italy at age 12. He was offered to train with Nick Bollettieri’s academy in Florida and had earned second place in the Under 16 world rankings.
But injuries got the best of him, and he couldn’t progress his career forward as much as he wanted to. Miccini later joined the University of Arizona and gave tennis a second shot.
Camila and Giacomo had known each other since their teenage years and lived in the same town, Macerata.
Since moving on from becoming a tennis player, Miccini is now an entrepreneur and owns Padel Club Porto Recanati training center. He is also a board member of an Italian furniture company Giessegi Mobili.
In 2022, Micinni earned his master’s degree in business administration from Lynn University and is available on Instagram with the username @miccini.giacomo.

Camila Giorgi and Santiago Rodriguez Taverna’s romance rumors heated up in 2022.
Giorgi, 31, was seen kissing Santiago, 23, during the US Open Tournament last year. The photograph quickly went viral, with several Italian media outlets questioning whether Camila had found a new man.
Santiago Taverna, born on July 16, 1999, represents Argentina in international tournaments. He is native to Buenos Aires and currently ranks 253.
Taverna’s grand slam debut came last year in French Open as he defeated Dimitar Kuzmanov in the qualifiers. He also attained his career-high ranking of 157 last year in August.
This year Santiago couldn’t quite work his magic to the first round of Roland Garros. The youngster was defeated in the second round of qualifiers by Zeppieri Giulio.
He is currently competing in Cali Challenger and defeated the Indian tennis player Mukund Sasi Kumar in the first round.
Previously, when Giorgi was asked about her relationship status, the tennis player quickly shut them down. She said, “No need to try, I will not say anything!”
Since the picture of their kiss went viral, the two have decided to keep themselves away from public engagements.
