South African middle-distance runner Mokgadi Caster Semenya, born on January 7, 1991, is a two-time Olympic gold medalist. In 2009, Caster Semenya’s gender became the subject of an international uproar.

Caster Semenya is a professional middle-distance runner who has competed in the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, and World Championships.

She won two gold medals at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics. Besides that, she is the recipient of several gold medals.
