CBS Sports took to its official social media to honor the legacy of its beloved member by sharing a beautiful video recalling the memories of Chuck Milton.
Born in 1935, Chuck Milton began his career in the mailroom before joining the sports division in 1964.
He further spent three decades as the producer at CBS Sports, producing multiple Super Bowls, NBA Championships, and Triple Crown Horse Racing throughout his career. Chuck also served in an executive role.

Charles ‘Chuck’ Milton III is Survived By His Wife, Patricia Ann, Son, Steve Milton, and the Whole Family
In addition to being a great producer, Chuck Milton was a great husband to his longtime wife, Patricia ‘Patsy’ Ann Milton, and an amazing father to his son, Steve Milton.
While very little information is available about his wife, Patsy, his son, Steve Milton, is carrying on his legacy at CBS Sports.
Chuck Milton’s son, Steve Milton, is an Emmy Award-winning director at CBS Sports’ College football telecast.
Furthermore, Steve has worked in various capacities, including as the director of the Masters and the PGA Championship, since 1987, and has led as a director since 1997.
Steve joined CBS Sports in 1981 and later became a broadcast associate in 1986.
Likewise, he took over as lead director of the Network’s coverage of college football in 2003.
Some of his career journey as a broadcast associate, associate director, and director include directing and broadcasting Super Bowl LIII, Super Bowl 50, Super Bowl XXI, XXIV, XLI, XLIV, and XLVII, the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, The NFL Today, college football studio show, and the 1992 World Series.
Similarly, Steve produced the Closing Ceremony and alpine skiing events at the 1998 Olympic Winter Games and directed ski jumping and Nordic combined at the 1994 Olympic Winter Games for the CBS Network.
He also served as director for the NFL on CBS before taking over the lead college football role and produced the opening sequences for the 1993 NCAA Division I Men’s Final Four broadcasts and the 1992 Winter Olympics broadcasts.
For his remarkable journey, Steve Milton has won the Emmy Award 11 times. Steve graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Economics in 1981.

In addition to his wife, Patsy, and son, Steve, Chuck Milton is survived by his daughter-in-law, Wendy, his entire family, and the entire community of Topsham, Maine.
