Audrey Griffin, a beloved student-athlete, tragically passed away at the age of 19 due to drowning, leaving her parents behind.

While the exact location and circumstances surrounding her passing remain unclear, her body was discovered in a creek.

She was a talented student-athlete from Central Coast Sports College.

Audrey Griffin’s Love For Water And Marine Life Turned Tragic As The Water She Cherished Took Her Life!

Audrey had been a Year 12 Vice-Captain and part of the Big Picture Program since Year 9.

In 2021, she made history by becoming the first female student-athlete to complete MathsPathway in Year 10.

As part of the CCSC Big Picture program, Audrey gained a solid foundation for life by covering the core elements of the NSW school curriculum.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Audrey trained in her sport of choice daily and balanced her roles as a student and athlete with grace and determination.

She had explored various passions and career pathways, with a primary interest in finance and business.

Audrey’s autobiography revealed her love for rugby, the beach, and swimming.

She cherished spending time near water and deeply loved marine life. Despite challenges like breaking her hand, she remained optimistic and dedicated to personal growth.

Her untimely passing at the age of 19 due to drowning has left the community grieving the loss of such an extraordinary young woman.

The Central Coast Sports College community, along with Audrey Griffin’s friends and family, is deeply mourning her loss.
