Jamey Hackett’s Greatest Pride Was His Family
Married to his loving wife, Jess Hackett, since August 8, 2020, the couple shared a deep bond and welcomed two wonderful sons into their lives.
Jamey’s love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life.
His Facebook posts often showcased tender moments with Jess and their boys, from playful outings to quiet family evenings, painting a picture of a man who cherished every second with his loved ones.
He was a hands-on father, always ready to build memories with his sons, whether it was playing in the backyard or teaching them life’s little lessons.
Jamey’s devotion grew to his parents, Michele and Tim Hackett, and his siblings, including his brother and sister, Kelly.
His family was his anchor, and he was theirs—a source of strength, laughter, and unwavering support.
Born and raised in Ohio, Jamey’s roots ran deep in the Buckeye State.
He graduated from Rutherford B. Hayes High School in Delaware, Ohio, where he was known for his warm personality and ever-present smile.

Following Jamey’s Passing, The Central Ohio Community Has Come Together To Support His Family
Family friend Nick Alexander set up a Spotfund campaign with a goal of raising $10,000 to help Jess and their sons during this difficult time.
The response was overwhelming, with over $13,000 raised, a testament to the love and admiration people had for Jamey.
Many people donated and shared messages on the fundraising page. This showed how much he meant to those around him.
