Edda Anderson, a former assistant swim coach at the City of Chandler, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 25 in November 2025.
She worked hard toward becoming a compassionate, well-rounded Physician Assistant with a foundation in public health and a passion for patient-centered care.
Edda Anderson graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Public Health and pursued an M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University.
She was especially interested in culturally competent care, health equity, and improving access for underserved populations. Her extensive hands-on experience has enabled her to develop valuable patient care skills.
She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Ensign Services and as a newborn hearing screening technician at Pediatrix Medical Group.
Beyond the clinic, Edda also served as an assistant swim coach at the City of Chandler, Arizona, where she directed swim meets, taught lessons, and used her first-aid and CPR training.
Any time spent with my Mortar Mates is well spent, but I’ll never forget homecoming week and how much fun we had working with all the king nominees!
