The Chicopee, Massachusetts, community is mourning the untimely death of a beloved native and standout athlete, Nora Healy.
Nora Healy succumbed to injuries sustained from a fatal car accident earlier this week, leaving her family and loved ones devastated.
A native of Chicopee, Massachusetts, Nora Healy was a cherished member of the sports community and touched the lives of many with her kind and cheerful nature.
She was a dedicated family member, a former competitive soccer player, and an enthusiastic participant in local recreational sports.
Nora’s athletic journey began at Chicopee High School, where she played as a forward on the girls’ soccer team, developing her skills in offense, speed, and teamwork in the community.
Although Nora Healy didn’t pursue her career in sports professionally, she remained active in athletics through local recreational leagues.
Nora was a member of the Red Fez Misfits, a co-ed slow-pitch softball team in Chicopee, sponsored or associated with the Red Fez Bar & Grill.
Social media posts and photos captured Nora’s joy in these games, including celebrations of back-to-back championships.
Furthermore, the untimely death of Nora Healy has left her family, friends, and loved ones devastated.

Nora Healy is Survived By Her Parents, Son, and The Entire Family
In addition to being an amazing athlete, Nora Healy was a great mother to her son, Tyler Healy, and guided him in his athletic journey from a very young age.
Nora often shared pictures of her son and his athletic achievements on social media, expressing her love and pride.
Following in his mother’s footsteps in sports, Tyler Healy played baseball at Chicopee Comprehensive High School and is currently continuing his athletic career at Holyoke Community College, leading his team in several victories.
Nora Healy was also a loving daughter to Donald and Sheila Healy and an amazing sister to her siblings, Martha Willetts, Eileen Petit, and Mary Healy.
Nora is also survived by her brothers-in-law, Tim Willetts and Adam Petit, nephews, niece, cousins, uncles, aunts, and the entire family.
Nora Healy was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Seamus John Healy, who passed away on February 4, 2016, at an untimely age of 25.
