Although many of you might have wondered if the two NFL stars are related, Baylor and Cooper don’t have a familial connection. The similarity in their last names is nothing but coincidental.

His grandfather Jake’s career included stints with the New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Cowboys from 1964 to 1975.

The New York Giants drafted Cooper’s father, Craig Kupp, in the fifth round of the 1990 draft but was released before the season began.

Later, Craig joined the Phoenix Cardinals, spending time on the practice squad before making his NFL debut in 1991.

He later moved to the Dallas Cowboys, although he did not get a chance to play in any games for them.
