Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes focused on the NFL playoffs even when awaiting the delivery of his third child.

The NFL star and his wife, Brittany Lynne Mahomes, welcomed their third child, daughter Golden Raye Mahomes, on Sunday.

The birth of baby No. 3 came at a perfect time for the couple since Patrick’s team secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC and had Wild Card Weekend off before starting their postseason run in the divisional round.

While his wife, Brittany, was delivering their third child, the three-time Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes was busy watching the wild-card playoff.

Patrick Mahomes said Tuesday that his wife, Brittany, let him watch some of the wild-card games Sunday while they were waiting for her to give birth.

“Brittany was kind enough to let us football as she was getting ready to give birth to our second daughter.”

He added, “It was cool that football was on TV while I was in the hospital, so I was able to watch a little bit.

Patrick also continued by saying that it’s been incredible to welcome another baby girl into the family and see how his other kids react to her.

Moreover, Patrick and Brittany were already proud parents of two, a daughter named Sterling and a son named Bronze, before welcoming their third child.

Likewise, the couple tied the knot on March 12, 2022, a year later, after welcoming their first child.

They married in a private ceremony in Maui, Hawaii, where Brittany wore a Versace gown, and their little girl Sterling rode down the aisle in a toy car.

Months after their wedding, the couple announced they were expecting their second child on May 29, 2022.

The couple welcomed their second child, son Bronze Lavon Mahomes III, on November 28, 2022.
