Cocoa’s Brady Hart has been named Florida Dairy Farmers’ 2024 Mr. Football, a considerable honor, acknowledging how well he played this season.
Capping off a fantastic year for the Cocoa High School quarterback, Hart led his team to conquer the Class 2A state championship against Gadsden County on December 12, 2024, by a score of 38-27.
In the championship game, Hart put on a show, throwing for 260 passing yards, plus a touchdown pass and a rushing touchdown.
His performance was one of the biggest in helping Cocoa win their third straight state title, proving they are the best in Florida high school football.

Cocoa head coach Ryan Schneider discussed Hart’s leadership and the team’s strength and said,
Brady Hart’s final season was terrific. He passed for 265 out of 390 passes (a completion rate of 67%) for an outstanding total of 4,360 yards and 40 touchdowns.
That performance not only earned him the Mr. Football award but also proved how much he has developed as a player since he first became a starting first-year player in 2023.
That year, he completed 288 out of 437 passes for 3,759 yards and 41 touchdowns, helping Cocoa to an incredible 14-1 record and their first state title in the series.
Brady Hart Has Signed On To Play College Football With Texas A&M University!
Hart received a 4-star recruit status and ranked No. 134 in the ESPN 300 for the class of 2025 after he reclassified from the 2026 class.
He had 8,244 passing yards and scored 82 touchdowns throughout high school.
His success is very special since he is the second player from Cocoa High to receive the Mr. Football award after Blake Boda did it last season.
Moreover, Hart demonstrates strong leadership skills, not only through his impressive stats but also in the way he leads both on and off the field.
His leadership qualities have earned him respect in the Cocoa locker room and throughout Florida. “It means a lot for us as a team and for Cocoa,” said star wide receiver Jayvan Boggs after their championship win.
The legacy of this team is transparent; they have achieved a historic three-peat in state championships.
Looking ahead, Brady Hart has signed on to play college football with Texas A&M University.
He is highly expected to change to college football, obtaining the great experience and skills he developed at Cocoa High.
With such an impressive high school career behind him, many are excited to see how he will grow as an athlete at the next level.
