Tom Schwieterman Was A Seventh-Grade Football And A Junior High Track Coach!
Born on October 27, 1999, Thomas “Tom” Schwieterman was a beloved figure in Coldwater, Ohio, known both as an exceptional athlete and a dedicated educator.
A 2018 graduate of Coldwater High School, Tom was a standout multi-sport athlete who competed at the state level in wrestling, football, and track and field.
His passion for sports carried into his adult life as he returned to his alma mater community to coach and mentor the next generation.
After graduating from Wright State University, Tom became a fourth-grade teacher at Coldwater Elementary School and simultaneously served as the seventh-grade football coach and junior high track coach.
Beyond school, Tom worked at Ohio Recycling in Chickasaw and enjoyed playing weekly basketball games with his friends.
He was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, where his strong faith guided his life and actions.
Additionally, he was affectionately remembered by family as a fun-loving uncle and supportive brother.

He is survived by his parents, James and Lucy Schwieterman, his siblings, nieces, nephews, and fiancée, Heidi Tangeman.
