Cole Swider, an American professional basketball player who last played for the Toronto Raptors of the NBA, is winning the hearts of millions with his amazing sports career.

The former Miami Heat star, Cole Swider, recently showcased his sharpshooting skills in the NBA 2K26 Summer League, scoring 21 points with 10 rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 94-81 win over the Pelicans.

The 6’8” forward knocked down four three-pointers on 4-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc, continuing to establish himself as a reliable perimeter threat.

Furthermore, athletic skills come naturally to Cole Swider, as he comes from a family of exceptional basketball players.

Cole Alexander Swider was born on May 8, 1999, in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, United States, as the eldest child to parents Jenny and Jeff Swider, both former college basketball stars.

His mother, Jenny, played basketball at the University of New Hampshire, where she was a team captain as a senior, whereas his father played one season of basketball at Fordham University.

Similarly, his grandmother, Peggy Matteson, played basketball at the University of Rhode Island.

Cole Swider has two younger sisters named Kylie and Courtney and a younger brother named Connor.

Following in their parents and grandmother’s footsteps in basketball, Cole Swider, along with his siblings, are excelling in their basketball journey.

Cole Swinder’s Sister, Kylie Swider, Played Basketball at Villanova and Stonehill College

Cole’s younger sister, Kylie Swider, who recently earned her master’s degree in marketing from Stonehill College in May 2025, won the hearts of many with her amazing collegiate sports career.

She was a member of the Stonehill College Women’s Basketball Team, where she led her team in several victories throughout her tenure.

Born on July 17, 2001, as the second eldest child of Jenny and Jeff Swider, Kylie Swider began her sports career at Tabor Academy, where she excelled in both volleyball and basketball and served as the captain of both teams.

While at Tabor Academy, Kylie also won New England NEPSAC AA Basketball First Team and Adidas All-American and NEPSAC First Team for Volleyball.

Similarly, the 6’4” forward Kylie continued her basketball career at Villanova University, from which she graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, and Advertising.

Besides sports, Kylie Swider is continuing to build her career in the marketing industry and served as the marketing intern at Reuzzi for four months.

Cole Swinder’s Youngest Sister, Courtney Swinder, Currently Plays at Wofford University

Cole Swinder’s youngest sister, Courtney Swinder, who is also an amazing basketball player, recently transferred to Wofford University to continue her athletic journey.

Prior to Wofford University, Courtney Swinder played for Richmond University’s women’s basketball team, the Spiders.

While at Richmond, Courtney won several honorable titles, including 2024 Atlantic 10 Champion and 2024 Atlantic 10 Regular Season Champion during her freshman year. She made her collegiate debut against Duke in 2023.

Like her elder sister Kylie, Courtney also attended Tabor Academy and excelled in both volleyball and basketball.

While at Tabor Academy, Courtney helped her team to a NEPSAC Class AA Championship.

Likewise, the youngest among the Swider siblings, Connor Swider, recently committed to play basketball at Youngstown State University. He previously played for the Worcester Academy men’s basketball team, leading his team to several victories.
