Concord NC Coach Kendall Bost Obituary- The Concord Middle School teacher, Kendall Bost, has passed away at age 29 in a tragic accident. Bost was a former football player at Concord High School.

A leader and motivator for many students, the entire Concord community loved Kendall. From colleagues to friends to relatives, not one person from his circle has failed to pay their respect to the coach.

The Concord High Athletic Boosters shared a post reminiscing about the football coach. They wrote that Kendall worked hard to nurture and lift the kids at Concord Middle School. 

The NC coach is survived by his mother, Caroline Bost, father, Donovan Flemming, and two siblings, Kailan and Kizziah.

The Concord Middle School teacher Kendall Bost lost his life in a tragic accident on Saturday. A North Carolina native, Kendall planned to coach the football team in the fall. 

One of his close friends, Kenneth McClamrock, revealed in his Facebook post that Kendall had messaged him about his plans. Kenneth said the middle school teacher had made a good rapport with the parents of his students.

Kendall graduated from Concord High School and was a football player for the varsity team. He enrolled at Appalachian State University and graduated with a political science and government degree in 2018.

After graduation, Kendall worked for two years at S&D Coffee & Tea as a material handler. He then joined Concord Middle School in 2022. 

A tweet from 2018 shows how close Kendall remained with his high school football team. An X user, Concord Spider FB, shared a photo of Kendall lecturing the young football team. 

The user wrote, “Even at a break, Kendall Bost took a few minutes to tell the JV linemen what it means to have Concord across your chest! “It’s Special” with Coach Porter & Mrs. Coach Porter’s daughter Riley taking it all in.”

The Concord community has organized a fundraiser for the late coach. The target of $5k was achieved within a few hours after the GoFundMe reached several social media platforms. 

Family And Friends Remember The Football Coach

Kendall was the firstborn of Caroline Bost and Donovan Flemming. The teacher also had two younger siblings, Kailan and Kizziah.

It was Caroline who first revealed that her son had passed away in a tragic accident. She shared a sweet photo of Kendall giving her a back hug, and Caroline captioned the post, “I’ll love you forever and ever. I thank God for the time I had with you, my sweet boy.”

She later shared the song The Dock of The Bay from Otis Reading as a tribute to her son. Donovan also shared a post for his son, a collage, which included a childhood picture of Kendall and also when he was on his coaching duties. 

He wrote, “My firstborn child, I’m truly at a loss for words. I may have been a bad person most of my life, but I always wanted you, your sister and your brother to make it somewhere in life.”

In your 29 years, you were a better man than I ever was, just like me in many ways, but damn, you were different, you were a man that was respected in life, and you will truly be missed. My heart is broken.”

Kendall’s sister, Kailan, had always been supportive of her brother. When Kendall joined Concord as a teacher in 2022, she even shared a celebratory post for him. 

Several Kendall’s friends took to their social media handles to pay their respects to the former coach. His close friend, Annie Elizabeth, wrote, “If there was one wish, it would be one more visit from you. One more hug. We love you big BBK.”
