Jacy Sheldon, an American professional basketball player for the Connecticut Sun of the WNBA, is a proud sister of two younger siblings.

The WNBA star, Jacy Sheldon, never fails to express her love for her younger siblings, especially for her younger sister, Emmy Sheldon, whom she regards as her biggest inspiration.

Although Emmy couldn’t pursue her journey as a basketball player, she continues to motivate and support her elder siblings, Jacy and Ajay Sheldon, with her optimistic nature.

Emmy Sheldon was also one of the reasons her sister, Jacy Sheldon, chose Ohio State for her collegiate career, as it allowed her to remain close to her younger sister.

Jacy Sheldon said,

During Jacy’s four-year tenure at Ohio State, Emmy not only stood by her side as her constant supporter but also inspired every player and was the Buckeyes’ biggest fan.

Emmy greeted each player with high fives, smiles, and hugs, mixing in a little dancing that boosted their confidence.

"I have Emmy in my life, and it's something I didn't realize until we had her. She's a blessing, I can't even put into words how important she is," said Jacy Sheldon.

WNBA star Jacy Sheldon often states that her sister, Emmy, is her biggest inspiration, both on and off the court.

She talks about the challenges her sister has faced in life, living with Down syndrome, from a young age.

Ajay Sheldon Shines At Ohio University, Following in Sister Jacy’s Footsteps

Ajay Sheldon is following in the footsteps of his father, Duane, and sister, Jacy Sheldon, and showcasing his exceptional basketball skills playing at Jacy’s alma mater, Ohio State.

He is currently in his senior year at Ohio State and is set to graduate in 2026.

Furthermore, joining the team in 2022, Ajay Sheldon played in 29 games for the Bobcats, making one start in his freshman year.

In his sophomore season, 2023-24, Ajay scored a career-high 17 points at Arkansas State and grabbed a career-high five rebounds at Akron, and in his junior year, he averaged 4.7 points per game while shooting 36.2 percent from the field, 28.4 percent from three, and 72.0 percent from the line.

Prior to Ohio, Ajay Sheldon showcased his basketball skills playing at Dublin Coffman High School, where he was one of the most promising lead guards.

He led the Shamrocks and earned a spot on the Division I Boys Basketball All-Ohio Third Team and All-Central District First Team in his junior year.

Similarly, Ajay competed for Midwest Basketball Club in the Adidas 3SSB Circuit, where he helped his team reach the Final Four of the 2021 Adidas 3SSB Championships.
