Heather Stewart works as a health recruiter for UW Medicine. A graduate of Onondaga Community College, Heather also has a degree in business management from SUNY Empire State College.
Heather, the mother of two, has been a health recruiter for two decades. One of her first jobs was as an HR coordinator for James Square Health Center.

She then served as an HR Associate for SUNY Update Medical University for seven years before joining Central New York Services. Before joining UW Medicine, Breanna worked as a senior recruiter in Seattle.
In an interview in 2020, Heather said she was proud of her daughter’s achievement after she won the WNBA Championship for the second time.
Brian Stewart Saw The Talent In Her In Ninth Grade
Brian recognized Breanna could become big in the basketball scene when she was in ninth grade.
Stewart was Breanna’s first coach and would spend hours training with her at the local YMCA. It was Brian’s love for basketball that pulled Breanna into it.
Little Breanna would tag along with her dad and watch him play at YMCA. This led her to practice basketball with him.

Brian taught his daughter dribbling exercises and several creative drills under his armor. Like Heather, Brian also comes from a medical background.
Stewart works as an MRI Tech at SUNY Upstate Medical University and tries his best to make time for his daughters’ games.
