American former professional NFL star Corey Davis has been married to the love of his life, his wife Bailey Davis, for over three years.
The couple together is now doting parents to a beautiful daughter, Xaviah Kae Davis. Bailey calls herself a proud mother of a two-year-old kid.
The former New York Jets wide receiver earned immense attention after he, without mentioning the word retirement, revealed that he is “stepping away” from football through Instagram.
Corey Damon Davis played collegiate football at Western Michigan. He became the NCAA Division I FBS leader in career receiving yards there in 2016.
Moreover, Corey also made it into the First-team All-MAC three consecutive times and won the Paul Warfield Trophy in 2016.
Later, the Tennessee Titans drafted Davis in the 2017 NFL Draft, where he played for four seasons.
However, the NFL star signed a three-year contract with the New York Jets in March 2021. Corey made his Jets debut against the Carolina Panthers, recording five catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns.
On August 23, 2023, the 29-year-old surprised the sports world by announcing that he is “taking a break” from the NFL.

“For some time now I’ve been contemplating stepping away from the sport of football. This decision has not been easy. Although I am a deep person, I am a man of few words. I’ve been searching my heart for what to do, and I feel that stepping away from the game is the best path for me at this time.”

Corey’s wife, Bailey Elyse Sheldon, was born to parents Katrina and Jeff Shelton. She was raised alongside her brother, Bryson, in her birthplace Knoxville, Tennessee.
Her mother, Katrina, is a breast cancer survivor. During her mastectomy and breast reconstruction, the siblings never left their mom’s side and supported her as an ideal child.
On the other hand, Bailey also had a health issue when she was a teenager. As per reports, she had surgery where her three cysts were removed from the breast.
