The city of Janesville is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Kase Harry, a promising 14-year-old student and athlete whose life was tragically cut short in a bicycle accident on July 1st.
Kase, who was preparing to begin his freshman year at Craig High School, died following a crash involving a City of Janesville trash and recycling truck at the intersection of Milton Avenue and East Memorial Drive.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 10:20 a.m., performing lifesaving measures, but sadly, Kase was pronounced dead on site.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, and the crash is now under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Kase Harry Was A Rising Star With A Heart Of Gold
Kase Harry was a vibrant, determined, and passionate boy known for his love of football, his genuine kindness, and his contagious energy.
A player for Janesville Youth Football, he had already made a name for himself among teammates and coaches alike.
