Wesson Jasper is Survived By His Parents, Whitney and Dustin Lane, and The Entire Family

Wesson Lane was the beloved son of Whitney and Dustin Lane. Many of his loved ones are recalling the memories of the late Wesson and extending their heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.

Furthermore, Whitney Lane, Wesson’s mother, shared a heartfelt message about her son as the family faced an unimaginable journey.

She described Wesson as a spirited, joyful boy whose laughter, mischief, and kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

“Our hearts are so heavy today,” Whitney said. “Our sweet boy Wesson has fought with everything he had. This TBI… the pain, the trauma… it has been so unfair. But even through it all, Wesson has shown us the purest kind of strength.”

Whitney spoke of Wesson’s adventurous spirit, his ability to turn ordinary days into memorable ones, and the light he brought into their lives. She said the family began transitioning him into palliative care, surrounded by love, prayers, and tenderness.

Even at a young age, Wesson made the selfless decision to be an organ donor, a reflection of his generous heart.

Whitney said, “Our boy will give life, hope, and healing to families who are praying for a miracle. Even in this hardest moment, he is shining his light.

She added:

“This doesn’t feel like giving up. It feels like placing our baby gently into the Lord’s arms, trusting that God has bigger plans for Wesson beyond anything we can see here on earth. His time here, though far too short, was filled with purpose, love, and a presence that changed us forever.”

Whitney asked the community to continue keeping the family in their prayers, saying, “Pray for peace. Pray for strength. Pray that we continue to feel Wesson’s love around us as we honor his journey with as much grace as we can. Thank you for loving our boy and praying over him and over us.”

The family will soon provide details about Wesson Lane’s funeral and memorial services.
