Lilburn, Georgia, Community Mourns the Loss of Krik Corsello!

Kirk Corsello tragically passed away on Christmas Day in Atlanta, Georgia, which was confirmed by his wife Connie Clement Corsello via a Facebook post.

He died while trying to help a neighbor catch their dog. A car began rolling down a hill, and Kirk attempted to stop it, but he was pinned between the car and the guide wires of a telephone pole.

Despite efforts by first responders and being taken to Grady Trauma Center, he did not survive his injuries.

Following his unexpected death, many have expressed their grief and support for the Corsello family.

One user in the community post shared his support and memories of Kirk, writing:

So sorry for your loss and such a tragedy. I raced triathlons with Kirk on the east coast circuit in the early 90’s and we had a few memorable duals. I will always remember running with him in the Wycoff tri in New Jersey. He had a lead off the bike and I managed to chase him down with a 1/2 mile to go. I kept the pressure on and he upped the ante to stay with me and then we went into the finish straight shoulder-to-shoulder where he out kicked me. It was devastating to do all that work and still lose, but it is a testament to his strength and determination. That’s what racing is all about, and he was always there to race hard and have fun. He was definitely one of the standout guys. He will be remembered fondly.

As Kirk has left a lasting impact on the lives of many, the entire community seems to be mourning and expressing their help and support to the Corsello family.

Kirk is survived by his wife, Connie Clement Corsello, and their children, including daughters Angelica and Morgan, and son Christian Corsello.

While the family takes time to process their loss, we would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the Corsellos and everyone who knew Kirk.

Rest in peace, Kirk!
