American professional basketball executive Nico and his wife, Darlise Harrison, are proud parents to their two beloved daughters, Noelle and Nia.

Nico Tyrone Harrison is the General Manager and President of Basketball Operations for the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA.

Born on December 28, 1972, in Seattle, Washington, Harrison had a diverse career before joining the Mavericks.

He played college basketball at West Point and Montana State. Later, he played professionally in Belgium, Japan, the Continental Basketball Association, and Lebanon.

After his playing career, Harrison joined Nike in 2002. He spent 19 years and eventually rose to the position of Vice President of North American basketball operations.

In 2021, he succeeded Donnie Nelson as the General Manager and President of Basketball Operations for the Dallas Mavericks.

Recently, Harrison traded Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis, Max Christie, and a first-round pick.

During a game between the Mavericks and the Lakers, Lakers fans chanted, “Thank you, Nico,” in a sarcastic show of appreciation for the trade.

Nico Harrison And His Wife Have Been Married For Almost 17 Years!

Nico is married to his sweetheart, Darlise Harrison. The pair first met while Darlise worked as a TV producer for ABC News and BET’s 106th & Park.

During that time, she was producing a feature on NBA star Alonzo Mourning.

Their professional paths intersected, eventually blooming into a personal connection and marriage.

The couple has been married since 2008 and has two daughters, Noelle and Nia.

Regarding Darlise Harrison, her educational journey is equally impressive. In 1993, Darlise studied Liberal Arts with Communications, English, and Africana Studies at Hofstra University.

Additionally, in 2019, she earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism from Indiana University Graduate School.

In addition to being a proud wife and mother, she has a background in media and production, having worked with industry giants like ABC, CBS, and BET.

She has produced content alongside big names in both sports and entertainment.

In recent years, Darlise has prioritized her family over her professional career. She has transitioned her professional role to that of a wife and mother.

While she has stepped back from her career, she remains a proud member of Delta Theta Sorority, Inc. and participates in various sorority activities.

Additionally, she is a board member of the Mavs Foundation and has participated in various events organized by the Mavericks.

Although Darlise has managed to keep much of her personal life private, she is known for supporting Nico.
