Dallas, Texas, Single Parent Juggles Kids, Custody Battles, Broken Phone, and Basketball Amid Back-to-Back 12-Hour Work Shifts!

Nisha Cooper, a single mother from Dallas, Texas, took to her Facebook the other night and just let it all pour out.

She wrote about how her kids got told they couldn’t stay with their dad for a few days unless she signed away her custodial rights.

The day had only started when a series of things fell apart. That same day, her son Kaeson got into trouble at school again.

Another son, Kaven, needed a ride home from practice and new tights from the Academy.

Whereas her daughter Bink cracked her phone screen.

Likewise, her car was on 3%, nobody had eaten dinner, and she still had a mountain of laundry waiting.

Nisha then revealed that not only on the same day but also on the other day she has a tight schedule.

The other day, she had a straight 12-hour shift followed by running to get Bink’s phone fixed.

Nisha then picked up Kaven from basketball practice and fussed at Kaeson for getting in trouble again when they got home.

After a brief fussing, she fed all three of them and did it all over again the next day for game day.

She ended her post saying this is her life every single day with no breaks, and if you’re lucky enough to have a good co-parent, please hold on to that for your kids.

Nisha is tired of the monotonous life, bone-tired from carrying everything alone.

Many single parents in Dallas and across the country saw her words and shared their own.

Michelle Brunson wrote:

You can file for visitation so he can be ordered to get them days at a time or when you need him to get them. If he do not comply his rights can be taken away automatically. Take your work and school schedule to in for records and to show judge.

Whereas, Nakita Lachelle praised her, writing:
