In 2002, Danica Patrick first visited therapist Paul Edward’s office to get help with her yoga injury. During the same year, Patrick competed in five Barber Dodge Pro Series races for Rahal Letterman Racing.

After two or three meetings, the couple started dating casually. After two years of dating, Paul asked her to marry him on Thanksgiving Day in 2004.

Just a year after their engagement, the couple tied the knot on November 19, 2005, in the presence of both family and friends. According to the couple’s birth date, Danica Patrick is 17 years younger than Paul.

However, the couple had been living a happy life for some years, often making public appearances together and talking about each other on social media.

However, after 2012, they started having marital issues, which resulted in divorce in 2013. Patrick filed the divorce on January 3, 2013, but it was only finalized on April 17, 2013.
