Daniëlle van de Donk was born on August 5, 1991, in Valkenswaard, Netherlands to Chris van de Donk and Yvonne Kox.

Daniëlle’s father, Chris, is a former trainer of the second Rood-Wit in Veldhoven.

In an interview, she revealed that when her father, Chris, played soccer first time for Valkenswaard, he saw her mother, Yvonne Kox, a native of Eersel.

He fell in love then and there when he saw her playing soccer. When Chris was sitting at the bar, that’s when he thought that he wanted to get married to Yvonne.

Daniëlle also added that her father is “an outstanding football player.” Once, her uncle, Rudd, played against her dad; Chris nutmegged him.

In 2011, Van de Donk moved on to the next club, VVV-Venlo. She played 18 games in a regular season and scored eight goals as a midfielder.

Her career in Eindhoven was the most successful because she scored 30 goals in 53 appearances.
