Danielle (Danni) Wyatt, who once went viral for tweeting, “Kholi marry me!!” is now engaged to her longtime girlfriend, Georgie Hodge.  

After Danni Wyatt’s 2014 tweet proposing to Virat Kohli gained attention, she was heavily trolled. Since then, many have wondered about her relationship status.

Contrary to popular speculation, Danni Wyatt does not have a boyfriend. She rather has a girlfriend. 

Danni got engaged to her longtime girlfriend, Georgie Hodge, on March 2, 2023.

Danielle Wyatt, born on April 22, 1991, is a cricketer from Staffordshire, England. Widely known as Danni and Waggy, she plays for Sussex, the Southern Vipers, the Southern Brave, and the national team of England.

She serves as a right-handed all-rounder who also bowls right-arm off-break. The cricketer made her debut with the England team on March 1, 2010. 

Wyatt was a member of the women’s team that won the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup, which was held in England.

On March 2, 2023, Danielle Wyatt posted a photo of her kissing Georgie Hodge. So, Danni doesn’t have a boyfriend but has a girlfriend.

In the photo of Danni and Georgie, they were flaunting the ring, captioned “Mine Forever.” That post was them announcing their engagement.

Georgie Hodge is the Head of Women’s Football at CAA Base, an agency for football career development.

Hodge joined Base Soccer Agency Limited in July 2015. Before that, Danni’s girlfriend was an Account and Campaign manager at Barclays for one year and six months.

Moreover, she also worked as an acquisition and Athlete Manager for eight months at Sport Lobster. Before being an Acquisition and Athlete Manager, Georgie was a commercial executive.

Regarding education, Hodge completed her early education at Cranleigh School. She then graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Communication, Media, and Culture and Sports and Coaching Studies.

Apart from her current relationship, Danni has been in relationships with two footballers in the past. Because of this, she was called Waggy. In one interview from 2015, “They say I am a wannabe WAG.”

Danni Wyatt is the daughter of Steve Wyatt, a former cricketer. Steve was born on March 10, 1997, in Newbury.

He was a left-handed batsman who was committed to Berkshire. Wyatt made his professional debut in the Minor Counties Championship in 2001.

In August 2001, Steve participated in a single List A match against Lincolnshire in the C&G Trophy. The last appearance of Steve on the Berkshire was at the end of the 2002 season.

The father and daughter have a special relationship as they are very close to each other. Steve travels miles to attend his beloved daughter’s match.
