Davi Belfort, age 18, is the oldest child of the MMA fighter Vitor Belfort. The Virginia Tech quarterback comes from an athletic family, with his grandfather being a former national volleyball player.

Standing at 5’10, a four-star recruit by ESPN and Rivals, Davi aspires to be the first Brazilian-born quarterback to reach the NFL. Several signs show that Davi can represent his homeland at the highest level.

The son of the former UFC fighter, Davi, has a lot riding on his shoulder. His father was once the youngest Ultimate Fighting Championship tournament winner and UFC’s light-heavyweight champion.

Davi began his football journey at age 11 when he moved to Florida from Las Vegas. He started as a linebacker and running back but now dreams of becoming the best QB in the nation.

Born on February 6, 2005, Davi Belfort is currently 18 years of age. Davi was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and moved to the US when he was six.

He is the oldest child of his parents, Vitor and Joana Prado Belfort. The three-time team captain, Belfort, has already drawn a large social media presence. 

On Instagram, the youngster has 136k followers, with several of his fans hailing from Brazil and are proud of the representation. The QB also makes sure to write his Instagram caption in Spanish. 

Davi started as a freshman at West Palm Beach Cardinal Newman, where he posted an 8-4 record. He completed 59% of his passes for 2,016 yards with 22 TDs.

He switched to Miami’s Gulliver Prep in his junior year, completing 66% of his passes, accounting for 2358 yards with 16 touchdowns.

Davi was previously listed as class of 2025 but reclassified in 2022 after switching to Miami Gulliver Prep. After his junior season, Davi moved to Western, so he could graduate early and sign with Virginia Tech. 

Signs of Davi being one of the wanted players by top colleges had already begun when he was in eighth grade. In 2020, Vitor Belfort shared that his son had already received a scholarship offer from Arizona State.

Previously, Pylon 7on7 Football interviewed the Belfort family, including Davi’s father. In the video, Vitor can be seen saying that his son’s determination and resilience are something to commend, but at the same time, it could also become his weakness. 

The video also touches on Davi’s late aunt, who was abducted and killed in 2003. The family business Belfort Fitness Lifestyle contributes a certain percentage of its membership amount to stop human trafficking.

Davi Belfort’s mother, Joana Prado Belfort, is an entrepreneur and a famous Brazilian personality. She began modeling while pursuing her undergraduate degree in Brazil. 

As a model, Joana Prado worked for brands like 775, Sexy Machine, M.Officer, and Playboy. She posed for Playboy three times, with her first issue being the most sold ever, with more than 1 million copies. 

She also achieved success as the character Feiticeira on TV. Joana met her husband, Vitor, in 2000, but their relationship didn’t last long.

Two years later, the couple met on the reality show The House of Artists, and soon their romance reignited. A year later, the couple tied the knot and have since then, gone through many ups and downs hand in hand. 

Along with Davi, the couple has two more kids, both girls, Vitoria and Kyara. Previously, while appearing in the Pylon video, Vitoria shared her interest in volleyball. 

Vitoria shares that her love for volleyball comes from her grandfather, a member of the Brazilian national team and a World Championship winner. The youngest, Kyara, is also an athlete and set her eyes on becoming a gymnast.
