Partizan

Bertans left Olimpija in 2012; he then signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Partizan Belgrade, is a Serbian club.

Thus the Partizan finished up the season by winning its 13th Serbian League title, defeating opponents Crvena Zvezda whereas it’s also Davis’ third consecutive win of the season. Then, Davis terminated his deal with the club on July 3, 2014.

Kutux Baskonia

Davis Bertans signed a three-year agreement with the Spanish club Laboral Kutux Baskonia on July 19, 2014. Again, in 2015 Bertans tore the ACL in the same right knee that had deferred him in 2013. He afterward ruled out for six to eight months.

Around 22 Euro league games he’d played, he averaged 11 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. Over 25 games in the Spanish League, he averaged 11.4 points.

Davis Bertans and Baskona agreed on an agreement buyout in July 2016.

San Antonio Spurs

Bertans signed with San Antonio Spurs on July 14, 2016. He made his first debut as the season opener for the San Antonio Spurs in October 2016. He scored five points in four minutes off the bench. It was a 129-100 win over the Golden State Warriors. 

Bertans sustained a career-high in scoring. He pitched 15 of the Spurs’ 56 bench points which substantially helped San Antonio Spurs defeat the Boston Celtics 109-103. He perfectly scored 21 points in a 102-85 win over the Charlotte Hornets in January 2017.

Bertans had three-pointers in a 107-85 win over Golden State to enter 51 three-pointers on the ongoing season. He came to be the sixth Spurs rookie to hit 50 in a season. 

Bertans was assigned to the Austin Spurs twice during the 2017-2018 season. He scored a career-high 28 points in a 107-105 win over the Sacramento Kings.

The Latvian player scored 18 points on a career-high six 3 pointers on January 13, 2018. It was simply a 112-80 win over the Denver Nuggets.

He re-signed a contract with San Antonio Spurs on July 11, 2018. After re-signing, he scored a season-high 21 points in a 132-119 win in January 2019. It was an exceptional win against the Washington Wizards. 

Washington Wizards

In a three-team agreement, Davis Bertans was traded to the Washington Wizards from San Antonio Spurs on July 6, 2019. He scored 20 points, made six three-pointers against the Charlotte Hornets.
