A promising Lacrosse player, Tyler Carbajal, took his last breath suddenly on July 9, 2025, leaving behind his family.
The precise details and circumstances surrounding Tyler’s untimely demise remain unknown as his family is grieving in private.
Carbajal was a freshman defenseman for the Delaware Valley University men’s lacrosse team in the 2025 season who had shown promising performance as a reliable contributor on the field.
Hailing from Hackettstown, New Jersey, and a graduate of Hackettstown High School, Carbajal had quickly adapted to the collegiate level and had been majoring in Nutrition Science.
Standing at 5-10 and weighing 200 pounds, he brought physicality to the defensive unit, starting all 16 games in his debut season.

His statistical highlights include 24 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers, demonstrating his ability to disrupt opponents and secure possession.
Notably, he recorded a season-high four ground balls and played 61 minutes in a game against Arcadia University on April 16, 2025, and caused two turnovers in a match against Rosemont on April 1, 2025.
While his offensive contributions were limited, with one shot on goal against Alvernia on March 15, 2025, Carbajal’s defensive presence was consistent, earning him a spot on the MAC Honor Roll.
Tragically, his career with the Aggies was cut short on July 9, 2025. However, his memory remains immortal in the lives of the people who cherished him.
So far, his family has yet to publish information about his funeral services.
During this difficult time, we offer our sincere condolences to Tyler Carbajal’s parents, friends, teammates, and extended family.
Rest In Heavenly Peace, Tyler Carbajal!
